Load cells are load/force measuring transducers. These transducers are frequently used in academical research, laboratories, servo-test machines, hydraulic/mechanical actuators, silos, storage tanks. S-Type load cells are especially preferred for lower capacity but more sensitive load measurements.

For analogue to digital conversion, these sensors should be used with 24-bit / 16-bit data acquisition systems which are as sensitive as the sensor.
